After a successful Military career as a Military Intelligence Officer in the US Army, Freddy started his Operational Excellence (OPEX) career in 1996 as a Six Sigma Black Belt with GE. Shortly after, he was Certified as one of GE’s first Six Sigma Master Black Belts. He continued his OPEX, Quality, and Continuous Improvements journey, holding Director level positions in Black & Decker, Merck, AkzoNobel, and most recently as the Vice President of OPEX for the REV Group.
Freddy is a hands-on and results-driven Lean, OPEX, and Strategy Development/Execution leader. He has driven transformational change and delivered customer value and financial results in manufacturing, supply chain, and transactional processes for automotive, consumer products, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Freddy maintains a strong record of success, driving full lifecycle project development from inception to implementation, aligning business goals with actionable success mapping.
He combines his analytical approach, leadership abilities, and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels. He is an expert in building cross-functional teams, influencing a clear vision for success with an aptitude to establish and achieve goals.
Freddy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Kansas State University and a Harvard Business School Corporate Strategy Leadership certification. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, a Master Trainer, and a Certified Change & Resilience Manager.
