Freddy Martinez is a hands-on, results-driven leader in Lean, Operational Excellence, and strategy development and execution. After a successful military career as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army, Freddy began his Operational Excellence career in 1996 as a Six Sigma Black Belt with GE and was later certified as one of GE’s first Six Sigma Master Black Belts.
Freddy has held senior Operational Excellence, Quality, and Continuous Improvement leadership roles across Black & Decker, Merck, AkzoNobel, and REV Group, where he most recently served as Vice President of Operational Excellence. His experience spans manufacturing, supply chain, and transactional processes across automotive, consumer products, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
Throughout his career, Freddy has driven transformational change, delivered customer value, and produced measurable financial results. He brings a strong record of full lifecycle project development, from inception through implementation, while aligning business goals with actionable success mapping.
Freddy combines an analytical approach with strong leadership and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels. He is highly experienced in building cross-functional teams, influencing a clear vision for success, and establishing and achieving organizational goals.
Freddy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University and a Corporate Strategy Leadership certification from Harvard Business School. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Master Trainer, and Certified Change & Resilience Manager.
