Virginia Lee has over 20 years of experience in software engineering, product/program management and consulting. Ms. Lee has provided services to various industries through start-ups, large enterprises and as an independent business owner. She specializes in software product design, product management, and strategic consulting.
 
Virginia began her career developing high speed telecommunications devices for remote data center operations. Her journey then took her to GTE where she led development teams and became a resource to global customers regarding telephony applications and architecture.

Virginia then led projects to transform internal systems into product offerings for adjacent industries which triggered additional revenue to GTE. After GTE, Virginia provided product development and consulting services in utility/telecom operations, wireless and mobile solutions, strategic eCommerce solutions, CRM/ERP systems, Cyber Security and M&A Integration for organizations such as Global Crossings, Dominion Resources, Edmonton Power (CA), Integral Energy (AU), Stadtwerk Goettingen (DE), United Airlines, Nielsen and NIST. As an Expert Consultant, Virginia provides expert research, reports and testimony for technology patent litigation.

Virginia’s consulting engagement with Nielsen drove transformation of a manual customer facing process to a web-based automated end to end delivery system which reduced data collection and cycle times, human error and training requirements and triggered earlier revenue recognition. Nielsen hired Virginia to lead several cross functional delivery teams, create their global IT Security practice and standardize their global M&A Integration processes and reporting.

Virginia holds degrees in Computer Engineering and an MBA from the University of South Florida and is a certified Cyber Security professional.
