Veronica has over 20 years of professional experience in Canadian and multinational organizations where she held various positions in accounting, marketing, customer service and accounts management, and finally in distribution and warehousing operations. For the last 3 years, she has transitioned into consulting to help leadership teams to improve client satisfaction and employee engagement through sustainable supply chain management & continuous improvement.
During her career, she worked with the largest retailers and manufacturers in Canada and identified opportunities to increase synergies between supply chains and delivered cost savings and reduction in CO2 emissions; integrated 8 new omnichannel brands (approx. 24k SKUs) within a distribution center and managed the modification and installation of equipment to allow for pick and pack activities; increased productivity by 15-20% with a food processing SME by realigning processes and tools.
Implemented 5S and DMS in production and distribution environments; and identified opportunities for improvements generating potential savings of $19M on 3 years for an oil & gas distributor and $13M annual savings for a medical distributor. In the last two years, Veronica has also been involved with the Prix Performance Quebec (Excellence awards) as an evaluator.
Veronica graduated from Concordia University with an undergraduate degree in Political Science; she completed a graduate program at HEC Montreal, earning a Master of Science in Operations Management as well completing the 2014 Summer School on Management of Creativity in an Innovation Society. While at CHEP, Veronica became a certified Green Belt; in addition, she holds a certification as a Black Belt from the American Society for Quality.
