Scott has over thirty years consulting experience beginning at Accenture where he was a Senior Manager leading people, process and technology engagements.  In 1997, he co-founded The Gecko Group, a management and technology consulting firm.  He has been focused on the healthcare industry since 2001 working with Fortune 50 as well as venture and private equity backed companies. ​​

While at Matrix Medical Network, a $300M private equity company, his team achieved revenue increases of $70M through new product launches.  His team also delivered a 17% increase in risk adjustment value via clinical documentation, coding and operational improvements.  Operational changes at an in-home care startup resulted in a 50% reduction in salary costs while also reducing uninsured visits by 95%.  At Optum, he led initiatives that increased encounter volume processing by 5x and reduced claim errors by 90%.  He has additional experience as an interim revenue cycle management department lead at two specialty practice organizations. ​

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota.  He has also completed certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Value Driven Reengineering.
