Matt’s experience includes Human Resource leadership roles with The Coca-Cola Company, Home Depot, Nestlé, and Zep. While an executive at Zep, the company suffered from severely constrained supply chain capabilities resulting from the global pandemic. Matt recognized an opportunity to leverage the disruption to rebrand Zep and set the business on a new trajectory. He was the principal architect in developing and executing Vision 2025 leading to pivotal strategic change.

While at Neenah, Matt directed complex, strategic initiatives including a complete metamorphosis of the Human Resource function. He spearheaded the acquisition and integration of a complementary company helping transform the brand from a paper company to a specialty materials company and designed and implemented a comprehensive succession plan that laid the groundwork for a successful CEO transition. Prior to joining Neenah, he was integral in transforming The Coca-Cola Company’s North American business and realizing its “system of the future” vision.

While at Home Depot, Matt worked closely with the president and leadership team in creating one of the fastest dotcom growth stories of the time. At Nestle, he contributed expertise to strategic acquisitions, sales force realignment, and compensation program planning.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management from Auburn University. He is a Board member of Human Resource Leadership Forum of Atlanta and previously served as Board Chair of a private school in the Atlanta area.
