John has a passion for continuous improvement and has spent his career driving operational and financial excellence across various industries including Manufacturing, Distribution & Healthcare Services while leading teams across Supply Chain, Procurement, and FP&A functions. ​

During his time at Polymer Group & Berry Plastics, John managed $50M as a commodity manager for chemicals leading negotiations and conducting e-auctions across the globe. Through various strategic initiatives he was able to drive a significant reduction in the cost of goods. While at nThrive, he led a group of cross-functional teams and workstreams focused on EBITDA improvement through lean six sigma initiatives and providing P&L and PMO support. ​

Most recently John has been instrumental in helping Home Depot integrate their B2B distribution subsidiary (HD Supply) in key Supply Chain and FP&A roles. He drove significant synergies during his time in Network Strategy through the unification of two distribution networks weighing the tradeoffs of customer service levels and long-term investments. He then moved to FP&A where he managed the Transportation P&L and was responsible for leading the annual planning process and building NPV models for strategic initiatives as part of the capital planning process. ​

John received his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia where he received a faculty award for academic excellence. He also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clemson University with a B.S. Economics where he was awarded the Harvey J Wheeler award as the top economics student.
