Deb has been a trusted HR business leader, coach and strategic change agent for more than 30 years working with people across all levels. She began her career at the Nielsen Company leading HR/people operations for its smaller business units and acquisitions. Deb built the HR function for Scarborough Research, a successful JV of Nielsen and Arbitron. She has held progressive top HR roles for Nielsen’s larger business units and has led teams as large as 30+ HR professionals supporting over 2,300 associates globally.
Deb has been a member of multiple high-performing leadership teams. Several times during her tenure at Nielsen, she straddled two or more leadership roles simultaneously. She successfully led two key post acquisition HR/business integrations which resulted in stabilized teams; improved people engagement & retention; streamlined costs and the delivery of expected business results. In early 2019, Deb began consulting for an aerospace technology start-up developing and leading its people operations as the company went through multiple changes in business direction.
Deb graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a degree in Business Administration majoring in Human Resource Management. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from HRCI and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. An avid diversity and inclusion enthusiast, Deb was appointed as an executive member of Nielsen’s Diversity Council and was its board representative for the Emma Bowen Foundation.
