Carl has worked at several Fortune 500 global enterprises (General Electric, Hewlett Packard, Arrow Electronics, Luxottica, Gulfstream), driving LEAN Transformation and Operational Excellence. 

Carl has been a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova since 2014. Carl also possess a CPIM (Certified Proficiency in Inventory Management) from APICS (American Product and Inventory Control Society). Carl has taught hundreds of executives, managers, and direct support personnel in all aspects of Lean/Sigma principles.

Carl’s focused leadership results over the last 30 years include some of the following:

• Changing the Rx Optical Industry standard from a 2-3-week delivery time to 3 days using LEAN tools. Results include cost reduction of 37% and an initial savings of over $3 million year one and championed profit growth from break-even to 34% EBITDA for Pearle Vision/Luxottica Optical.
• Reduced the supply chain air-freight transit time from Asia to our US customers doorstep from over 1 month to 48 hours. Results include an initial $1.3 million savings, year one for HP. Authored and developed a Hewlett Packard Supplier Qualification Process for new supplier qualification (TQRDCE). Results include a $27.2 million dollar savings year one.
• Implemented new Semiconductor Industry Standard for delivering of programmable devices <24 hrs. Results include increased profit from negative to 19% EBITDA year one using Lean tools.
  
• Successfully launched the new G280 mid-cabin private jet aircraft at Gulfstream Aerospace. Results include at $4.8 million savings in global cost reductions through waste elimination, inventory reduction, and negotiated supplier cost savings using Lean Supply Chain tools.

  Carl has held key leadership positions at HP -Sr. Global Supply Chain Manager, GE/Marquette – VP of Operations, General Manager – Arrow Electronics, Vice President – Pearle Vision/Luxottica, and Sr. Manager of Continuous Improvement at Brinks. 

  Carl holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from San Jose State University and an MBA from St. Mary’s College of California.
