Jas has been a noteworthy leader in Business and Process Excellence space for over 25 years. He started his career journey as a Lecturer teaching Industrial Engineering in 1995. He joined 407 ETR as a Process Consultant in 2003 where he led the improvement of call center processes, enabling 12% increase in customer satisfaction and 30% reduction in calls. In 2005, Jas implemented ITIL processes at Siemens Support Center leading to 32% reduction in high severity incidents. Siemens Canada ranked #1 in IT process maturity due to his efforts.

At AstraZeneca, he introduced Lean IT methodology in Service Desk and realized considerable improvement in cycle times for Incident Management and Problem Management processes. Jas joined Rogers Communications in 2009 where he designed and led Process Improvement Centre of Excellence in IT. He also led a large cross-functional program to improve Software Development Life Cycle and reduced defects by 47%. At TELUS Communications, he worked as an Operational Excellence Champion with the main focus being deploying Six Sigma across various business units.

During his most recent job at McKesson Health as Director Business Process, he led Six Sigma Deployment in Specialty Health Canada, US Oncology Network, US Oncology Research and Provider Solutions across North America.

Jas is very passionate about spreading process excellence knowledge and is currently teaching Advanced Six Sigma Concepts at University of Toronto. He holds a MS in Industrial Engineering and is a Certified Master Black Belt LSS from Villanova University. He is also certified in ITIL, ISO 20000, TOGAF, eTOM, TAM and SID.
