Gautam is a business excellence leader with proven leadership in Continuous Improvement and Operations. He started his career in Anchor Harvey Components as a Continuous Improvement Engineer implementing lean and six sigma programs in a manufacturing environment. He then progressed to the telecommunications industry at Aviat Networks where he was responsible for building the Continuous Improvement program from the ground up. As a Corporate Master Black Belt, he managed the end-to-end strategy of the Continuous Improvement Program/Lean Six Sigma Program. Reporting directly to the C-Suite, he managed the Deployment, Training, Executing, Mentoring and Communications on the Lean Six Sigma Program. Most recently, he also managed the repair operations with a global customer base with globally dispersed operations with full P&L responsibility where he implemented lean six sigma programs successfully.
Gautam has trained ~500 People in various Lean Trainings, A3 Training, Yellow Belt Training, Green Belt Training, VSM Training & Kaizen Facilitation Training. He has ~15 Successful Kaizens Facilitated. He has proven program results by delivering ~ $5Mil in P&L savings/EBITDA improvement. Gautam also has experience in the implementation and oversight of Management Systems for multi-site multi scope- QMS, EMS, OH&S, ISMS with adherence to the ISO9001, TL9000, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO27001.
Gautam holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Western Illinois University. He holds a Master Black Belt Certification from Ohio State University along with a Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ. He is also Scrum Master Certified along with various ISO certifications.
