A leading expert in wireless transport solutions faced declining market conditions, reductions in spending from key customers, and a tenured workforce. To combat these problems they consulted Adonis Partners, where experts found three critical areas of opportunity: order management, forecasting and planning, and resource management.

After identifying key opportunities, Adonis’ expert consultants engaged each staff level in Lean Six Sigma training, starting with the executive team and project leaders and working down to the team members. Over 500 staff were trained at the Yellow, Green, and Black Belt levels. Thorough project selection unveiled the tasks that would deliver the most impact. Associates were then coached to apply their training on these projects, resulting in an industry-recognized certification (WIIFM). 

This structured approach initiated a cultural shift to an environment where continuous improvement was embraced. Employees began to view defects and issues as opportunities for growth, leading to daily problem-solving through kaizen. Stock prices increased 229% through July of 2020 and an EBITDA impact of $8.4M was realized. The company evolved from facing detrimental hardships to establishing continuous improvement that permeated every level of the company.
