Key Leaders Trained for Continuous Improvement
Leaders Certified in Lean Six Sigma
Increase in Annual Productivity
A global portfolio medical technology company that focused on the repair, regeneration, and replacement of soft and hard tissue approached Adonis Partners in need of assistance. While they were well down the path of establishing a culture of continuous improvement in their European operations, other geographies had not yet developed these capabilities. After relocating the company’s Caribbean operations to North America, the client turned to Adonis Partners to help establish a culture and capability for continuous improvement that mirrored the success of their European operations.
To begin this process, Adonis conducted discovery interviews with stakeholders, analyzed data, and reviewed process maps. Our expert consultants then facilitated Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops to get a clear picture of process pain points and identify the root causes of underperformance. From there, recommended corrective actions to address the root causes were developed and a future state design was built.
Adonis scoped 12 projects, assigning eight to Green Belts (GB), and conducted extensive training: White Belt (WB) for plant staff, Yellow Belt (YB) for project team members, and Green Belt (GB) for project leaders. GBs were coached through their projects, resulting in a total of 24 continuous improvement leaders and 8 leaders certified in Lean Six Sigma within a year. These efforts yielded over $1M in annual productivity, establishing a robust culture of continuous improvement at the North American site.
