Developed several lean projects implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S’s, visual management and other concepts applied in Logistics and Manufacturing environments. Has a “Shop floor” view and ease to communicate with all hierarchical levels.
Directly and actively participated in the administrative and financial planning of operations, preparing costs, sales process, and commercial negotiations.
Responsible for the Business Improvement Area as Master Black Belt for Berry Plastics from 2015 to 2017, developing six sigma projects in South America with six Black Belts and up to 80 Green Belts. (Benefits = US$20 million in two years).
Airton holds a bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (Brazil), an Specialization in Work Safety Engineering also from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (Brazil) and an Executive MBA in Marketing from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (Brazil). Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificated.
